The EastLake Educational Foundation (EEF) recently received $2,599 from the new local Jersey Mikes Subs located at the Otay Ranch Town Center. Jersey Mikes ran a promotion the first 4 days they were open and had an amazing response. The money raised will be used to fund technology at local EastLake Schools.
“The EEF is thrilled to have Jersey Mikes in our area,” says EEF Executive Director, Nicole Graichen. “It is easy to see that they have a passion for giving back to our community and we are extremely grateful that they chose to partner with the EEF for this promotion, everyone involved with their establishment was absolutely amazing!” 
Our new local Jersey Mikes had the highest sales nationally during their opening weekend. The first Jersey Mikes open in 1956 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Now they are franchised with over 600 locations nationwide. “Giving…Making a Difference in Someone’s Life” is Jersey Mike’s mission statement. Since 2010, locations throughout the country have raised almost $7 million for worthy local charities and distributed more than 500,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
