The EastLake Educational Foundation (EEF) has launched the COME TOGETHER COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN to help fund technology and innovation in neighborhood schools. The Campaign “kicked off” Nov. 19th with a virtual rally featuring special guests Mayor Mary Salas, CVESD Superintendent Francisco Escobedo, President & CEO of the South County Economic Development Council Jim O’Callaghan, representatives from Community Health Group, North Island Credit Union, SUHSD, and COX Communications. Additionally, seven neighborhood schools will showcase their critical needs and feature ways for the public can help. Partners in education ABC 10News San Diego broadcasted the event with anchor Laura Acevedo serving as the Emcee.

The Kickoff rally can be viewed through various social media platforms and the EEF Facebook page. The Come Together Community Campaign will continue until December 31, 2020, with personal messages from members of the community and give-a-ways happening throughout the campaign. The event will take the place of the annual TASTE OF EASTLAKE, which has been the EEF’s largest annual fundraiser.
