The Eastlake Educational Foundation (EEF) provides and supports programs that benefit local public schools. Our longest running program, the annual Technology Grants has supported 7 public schools of EastLake for almost 30 years. The grants (typically $15,000-$$20,000 per school) provide our public schools the tools to remain future-forward and ensure equity for all students.
The EEF also offers programs related to STEAM for the whole community. These programs allow all students to excel by utilizing their emerging talents in science, technology, engineering, arts, math (STEAM). Past programing has included resources from throughout San Diego County– and even some national collaborations. Originally branded as “25 ACTS of STEAM” to celebrate the EEF’s 25th anniversary, the programs have become so popular that the EEF has committed to continue STEAM programming under the new branding “STEAMing Ahead”.
